Nikolai Moroz was born in the Ukraine and received his dance education at Kiev State Choreographic School under Dr. Valery Parsegov.. He began his professional dancing career with the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater in Ukraine and continued later as soloist and principal dancer at Kiev State Theater of Classical Ballet. He toured Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, France, and several other countries. In 1995 he was invited to join El Paso Ballet as principal dancer and in 1997 joined Ballet Arizona. He is proficient in classical as well as modern ballets, and has performed in Romeo and Juliet, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Agon, Apollo, Harlequinada and Serenade. Nikolai’s teaching experience includes Odessa School of Ballet (Ukraine), Kiev Ballet School (Ukraine), School of Ballet El Paso, University of Texas at El Paso, School of Ballet Arizona, and Brigham Young University Summer Workshop.
