Dance Classes

DANCE

Classes are offered in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. Placement and advancement in the program is based on each individual student. The dance program consists of a preschool program, recreational dance, intensive training program and adult classes. The student's physical, technical and artistic development, as well as their maturity determines their progression throughout their study of dance at the academy. The poise, grace, physical and mental discipline achieved through dance will establish a strong foundation for any future endeavor.

ACTING

Classes are offered in Acting, Drama, Improvisation, and On-Camera Technique. We offer a solid acting approach that the young performer can easily utilize in all mediums of the theatrical arts. We also offer adult acting, on-camera classes, and a play production class for students ages 8-15.  The Actors Training Program here at the academy is devoted to training students for theatrical and/or commercial productions. The program has established innovative learning techniques to prepare students for stage, film, television, and commercials. The Florida Entertainment and Commercial Industry has grown over the last decade and there is presently a heavy demand for trained, talented, and disciplined talent. We believe that the only limit placed on young talent is that of their imaginations.

MUSIC

Classes are offered in Voice and Musical Theatre. We offer classes that help the student implement the various skills and demands of working in musical theatre. Students will learn proper breathing techniques - how to care for the voice, vocal control and diction, tone and pitch, placement of voice, enhancement of range, musicality and confidence of performance. Instruction is given on how to merge acting, singing, and dancing abilities to create a believable and entertaining performance in all of the musical theatre genres. More importantly, they learn how to enjoy the experience.

Private instrumental instruction is available in Piano, Guitar and Saxophone.
