Acting Department

MJPAA is now offering a full acting curriculum that will train the beginning actor through the working professional.  It is our goal to both expose students to the joy of theatre and to enhance their educational experience to include enriching performing arts experiences.  Classes are offered in Acting, Drama, Improvisation, and On-Camera Technique.  We offer a solid acting approach that the young performer can easily utilize in all mediums of the theatrical arts. We also offer adult acting, on-camera classes, performances, and private lessons for all ages. Students will learn skills that will enhance their personal development and increase their confidence and self-esteem.  The students will be learning skills that will enhance any future occupations or educational endeavors. The Actors Training Program here at the academy is devoted to training students for theatrical and/or commercial productions. The program has established innovative learning techniques to prepare students for stage, film, television, and commercials. The Florida Entertainment and Commercial Industry has grown over the last decade and there is presently a demand for trained, talented, and disciplined talent.  We believe that the only limit placed on young talent is that of their imaginations.
