Boys, Boys, Boys Camp

This Is Not Your Sister's Dance Class! A powerful, well-rounded curriculum that will allow boys to experience the focus and drive of professional athletes and dancers. Classes include hip hop, breakdancing, strength and conditioning, tumbling, music, rhythm, improv and more!
Power-Packed Intensive

Our Power-Packed Intensives offer a summer workshop that will lay the ground work for the serious dancer dedicated to the arts. These workshops are designed to insure the continuity of the physical and mental training necessary for technical advancement. In addition to the technical curriculum, classes will be included to focus on expanding the dancer's knowledge in body awareness, proper stretching techniques, nutrition, pedagogy, and dance history. Significant technical advancement will be accomplished with student's participation and application of this program. Students will be placed in levels based on an audition the first day of each week. Classes will include ballet/pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary, theatre dance, lyrical, pilates, tap, hip hop and voice for the dancer.
*Class enrollment is limited. Admission is by instructor's approval.
Ballet Intensive

A presentation will be held for parents on Saturday, July 30th at 1:00 PM at the Academy.
This two week intensive is geared to the serious dancer interested in taking their classical and contemporary ballet training to a new level. Classes are designed to strengthen the dancer as well as their growth in both artistic & technical development. Curriculum includes Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Character, Partnering, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Pilates, Dance History, and Conditioning/Stretch. Classes will be taught by distinguished artists from the professional dance world. Classes will be taught by world renowned artists from the professional dance field.
*Admission to this program is by audition. Audition class time to be announced soon.

Back by popular demand, this Musical Theatre Workshop will allow students to act, sing, and dance their way through popular Broadway tunes while having the opportunity to create their own dialogue and characters. The students will be exposed to professional singing techniques, warm-ups, short monologues, and dance technique geared for Theatre. The worskshop will culminate in a performance to be held at the MJPAA Black Box Theatre.

FLORIDA DANCE JAM

Florida Dance Jam was founded to create a vehicle for students to learn from some of the leading faculty in our ndustry in a non-competitive safe environment. This 4 day convention will offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary and Hip Hop. There will also be a class for the older students called "The Dancers Edge"...offering audition info and tips on making it in the industry. A nutrition class will be included, supplying students with a guideline of the fuel and nourishment they need to become stronger dancers. The convention will conclude with a fun collaboration of dancers and musicians working together to stimulate creativity and further develop the artist within. Class size is limited, providing a learning atmosphere where each student can receive the attention and develop the tools to enhance their training. Our goal is to inspire dance students from all over to not only continue their studies, but develop the motivation necessary to achieve their potential!
